The Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) is proud to one of the few Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector stakeholders selected by the Australian Government to help support service providers assess and access the Worker Retention Payment (WRP). This selection recognises our extensive knowledge of the ECEC sector, our commitment to support the sector and demonstrated understanding of the WRP.
We now offer free support to all eligible service providers (ie. those eligible to apply for the WRP), whether ACA members or not, to help them make informed decisions about whether to apply for the WRP and which workplace instruments may suits their individual needs best, in order to meet the requirements of the WRP grant guidelines.
Whether a service provider chooses to engage with the Multi-Employer Agreement (MEA) or the Individual Flexibility Arrangements (IFAs), ACA can assist by offering free resources and support through the whole process.
We emphasise that the decision to apply for the WRP rests solely with each service provider and should be based on a thorough assessment of their individual circumstances and the suitability of the WRP's terms and conditions. We can help service providers navigate this decision and recognise that the WRP may not be appropriate for all services.
The ACA will also offer ongoing support to help services comply with the ongoing requirements of the WRP grant via our free, professional resources.
