Coronavirus - When should I close my centre?

Mandatory closures

The Federal or relevant State/Territory Department of Health will advise you of the need for partial or full closure. 

Your centre may be directed to close:

  1. on an individual basis due to an actual or suspected case of Coronavirus. 
    This request would come from your local Department of Health or Public Health Unit.

  2. on a sector-wide basis as determined by State or Federal authorities.
    In the event thar there is a call for a state or nation-wide closure, ACA will keep you informed. 

 
Pandemic Action Plan

ACA has produced a Pandemic Action Plan to support early learning services in working through voluntary or mandatory closures.

We will soon provide some communication templates for your families should there be a need to advise them of closure.
