Parents with children in childcare/kindergarten, we're seeking your support to take part in our community video!
To help celebrate this year’s Early Childhood Educators Day, which takes place on Wednesday 6th September, the Australian Childcare Alliance will produce a community video featuring parents/guardians and their young children.
The video will follow a light-hearted and fun, yet heart-felt theme to encourage families and children, along with their early learning service providers to celebrate Early Childhood Educators Day as a way of saying “thank you” to Australia’s early childhood educators.
The video will be aired nationally on social media and other digital communications platforms from early July through to the event day itself on 6 September.
We are seeking parents/guardians and their young children who would be happy to take part in this community video.
You would need to be available on Saturday 3 June or Sunday 4 June for a 30 minute film shoot, to take place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
We will provide you with a 30 minute time slot, and you will only be required to attend for the period of your own shoot. You will also be sent a basic script a week or so prior to filming, and we will coach you and your child on the day in a friendly environment.
As we would like the families featured in the videos to reflect Australia’s ethnic diversity, as well as our young Australians with special needs, we encourage families from all backgrounds to volunteer.
If you and your child/children would be happy to be filmed as part of this community video, please call Celia Falkland on 0432 044 855 by midday, Saturday 3rd June to organise a filming timeslot.
We look forward to hearing from you, and we thank you in advance for your support!
