Child Care Provider Handbook now online

The  Department of Education and Training has released an online version of the Child Care Provider Handbook (the Handbook) - available here.

The Handbook is a guide to the requirements and responsibilities of child care providers and services that are approved under Family Assistance Law.

The first online version has been published in advance of the commencement of the new child care package on 2 July 2018 to help providers prepare for the Child Care Subsidy.

Please note that the Handbook will be updated prior to the new child care system commencing on 2 July 2018, and regularly thereafter.

The Department encourages early learning service to check their website regularly to ensure they have the most up-to-date version.
